Welcome to EShabda
Shabda literally means ‘word’ in many Indian languages. The prefix ‘e-’ requires no explanation, hence EShabda stands for ‘the word of Indian literature in the electronic/digital world’.
Cygnet.One created EShabda, an e-publishing platform in 2014 with around 1000 digital books in Gujarati, Hindi and some other Indian languages. All in reflowable validated epub 3.0 format and tested for accessibility. ECOM web front and DRM protected Android and IOS apps were developed.
In this second edition after almost a decade, we bring interactive digital books, rich in media as fixed layout HTML-5 flipbooks in addition to epubs.
This entire site consists of interlinked books and the user experience is very close to reading any printed book.
This is still a work in progress but we present here several thousand pages of very rich reading content mostly in Gujarati Language.
